Verified reviews, published when you decide

MP Customer Reviews asks every customer who actually ordered from you for a review, a few days after their purchase. The customer rates their experience from 1 to 5, writes a comment, and you choose what appears on your website. To say thank you, the module can send them a personal discount code, whatever their rating.

Everything happens inside PrestaShop: invitations, moderation, public replies, discount codes and emails. No subscription, no external platform, and free of charge.

How it works

1. An order is paid: a personal invitation is prepared for that customer.
2. After the delay you choose (7 days by default), the customer receives an email with a secure link to the review form.
3. They choose a rating, write a comment and agree to its publication.
4. You publish, hide or reject the review, and can reply publicly.
5. The thank-you code is sent automatically or when you decide.

Reviews customers can trust

• Only customers with a paid, valid order can leave a review: every review is labelled "Verified customer".
• A written comment is required (20 characters minimum by default), with a 1 to 5 rating and publication consent.
• At most one invitation and one reward per customer, so nobody is asked twice.
• A dedicated page and a home page block: average rating, rating distribution, reviews and merchant replies, on desktop and mobile.
• The average only counts published reviews. With no review yet, a clear message is shown: no rating or fake review is ever added.

Moderation stays in your hands

• Every review arrives pending: publish, hide, reject or delete it.
• A public reply under every published review.
• Search by name, email, order or comment, and filter by status.
• A technical log keeps track of actions without storing comments or email addresses.

A discount code to say thank you

• By default: 30% off for 30 days, single use, reserved for the customer, not combinable with another code. Percentage and duration are configurable.
• The code is sent after the review is submitted, after it is published, or only when you decide.
• The promised conditions are saved with each invitation: changing your settings never alters what was already announced.
• Create a code without sending it, or withhold a reward in case of abuse.

Nothing is sent without your approval

• All sending is disabled after installation. Preview the invitation and the voucher email before switching anything on.
• One main switch stops every email, including scheduled tasks.
• Emails go through PrestaShop's native mail system, with your shop logo.
• An unsubscribe link in every invitation; export and deletion of personal data (GDPR).

Frequently asked questions

Is the module really free?
Yes. Add it to your cart and confirm the €0 order: the download is immediate, with no payment details to enter.

Are the reviews about products?
No. They are about the shopping experience in your store (order, delivery, service), not about a specific product page.

Can I publish only good reviews?
Publication is your decision, review by review. The thank-you code, however, never depends on the rating: a customer who leaves an honest review is thanked the same way.

What happens to my previous review module?
PrestaShop's native "productcomments" module is disabled without deleting its data. It is enabled again if you uninstall MP Customer Reviews.

Does my data leave the store?
No. Reviews, invitations and codes stay in your PrestaShop database. When uninstalled, reviews and vouchers already granted are kept and sending stops.
